An ancient two story stone building standing dark and imposing in the shadow of the massive defensive walls of the castle. It is just to the left of the main gates.
The top of the building is complete with ramparts of its own fit for defense. And has an iron gate fitted to the entrance of the barracks. This one complete with inscriptions of its own. It is in a perfect position to hold the keep if ever an occasion arose when they would need to take to arms.
The Royal Guard are usually seen joking with one another and patrolling the walls halfheartedly. They are not on alert.
Rarely are the training grounds used in these days.
Attached to the barracks is the Royal Armoury, equipped with only the finest of Velhamiran weaponry.
